Terry Michael Lundgren, age 40, died suddenly at his home in Freeland, MI on April 21st, 2015. Terry was born on July 2, 1974 in Tulsa to Larry & Cheryl (Willis) Lundgren. He grew up in Tulsa and attended Edison High School graduating in 1992. Terry attended college at Oklahoma State University receiving a Bachelor's degree in 1998 and a Master's degree in Community Counseling in 2000.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, larry Lundgren, his sister Adrienne Sue Lundgren, grandfathers Andy D. Willis and Lawrence Lundgren and grandmother Wilma Lundgren. He is survived by his fiancee Melissa Hays of Freeland, MI, his mother Cheryl Lundgren of Tulsa, his grandmother Oleta Willis, aunts and uncles Terry and Vicki Lundgren, Tim and Susan WIllis, Merietta Grever, cousins Jeremy Lundgren, Matthew Willis, David Willis, and many other family members and close friends.
Terry was an avid sports fan and closely followed his favorite college and pro teams, especially OSU basketball. His favorite activities were working out, running, and playing basketball with friends. Terry was a caring and compassionate person who loved to laugh and have fun with his family and friends. His sense of humor and infectious laugh will be missed by everyone who knew him. Although he left this earth much too soon our fond memories of Terry will live in our hearts forever bringing smiles to all who remember him.
A service is planned to celebrate Terry's life on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 5590 South Lewis Avenue in Tulsa. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday April 28, 2015 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street in Tulsa.
