Caring for Tulsa's Families Since 1932

Moore began a tradition of strength and care in 1932, when J. Herbert Moore and his son, J. Foreman Moore, opened their first chapel. Over the years we have grown with Tulsa, in the number of services we offer, our number of locations, and our level of commitment to serving those in need.

Still a family-run operation, Moore Funeral Homes, Inc., maintains a singular purpose: to honor you or your loved one in a supremely dignified manner by providing the most thorough and professional attention possible.

About Moore Funeral Homes

Our family has been taking care of many of Tulsa's families for a long time. A small business that started in Claremore, moved to Tulsa by the courage and vision of a man from New Jersey. Moore's has become one of our city's most successful and respected enterprises, embodying the spirit that has helped this city become such a wonderful place to live.

In 1932 they became Moore Funeral Homes. Joe M. Moore now oversees the operation of five Tulsa facilities. Elaine Moore-Jones has been the Funeral Director at the Southlawn Chapel for fifteen years. The Moore family has worked to insure that Tulsa families have someone they can count on when they need them the most.

Our professional and caring staff will be there to help walk you through every step of the cremation or funeral process. We have a wide selection of packages to offer from memorial “life celebration” services at any one of our facilities or at a facility of your choice. Our online memorials provide a lasting tribute to your friend or family member. We have a large selection of caskets and urns to meet your needs, and with our huge selection we know that we can help you to find the perfect casket or cremation urn to reflect the life your lost loved one. We also offer cremation services. Click here to go through the pre-planning process all from the convenience of your home. Our staff is available to answer any of your questions or concerns.
