My longtime employer and friend past away recently. He always told me to use Moore's funeral Home because they had done such a wonderful job for his wife's funeral. So I contacted them on the day of his death. They arrived at his home promptly and with the utmost care took my friend to the funeral home. The next day I met with a funeral director and with his caring guidance planned a service that my friend would be very pleased with. Special thanks to Steve Taylor and Thomas Carreno at the Southlawn Chapel! Thank you for your care, compassion and professionalism during this very difficult time.

  • "Dr. Moore, this letter is to say thank you for your employee, Mr. Terry Hamm. Terry was very helpful to my family recently regarding the passing of my mother. Terry went out of his way to assist us in a very difficult period. Planning for something like this can be a painful and delicate process at best, and Mr. Terry Hamm helped us to achieve this goal. I would also like to say thank you to Mrs. Wilma Gabbert. She was very helpful as well. Wilma's kind demeanor was most appreciated. She and Terry made us feel like all had been taken care of and that is a great comfort when you are grieving. Once again, thank you for Terry and Wilma; they are both great assets to your business."

  • "Dear Grief Group, What a loving, considerate group you are. The card was very beautiful and I appreciated the kind remembrance for Ted and my 69th anniversary. How nice of you to do that. • "Ron, I have never attended a funeral service that was better directed than our Mother's. You handled every situation in the most gracious and comforting way. The service itself is unimportant compared to the loss of our loved one, but it helped so much to know that a person of genuine concern was in charge. From the planning session to the end, we felt at ease. Speaking of the end - I shall never forget seeing you observing the final burial in 98 degree weather as we drove back past the grave site after everyone else had gone. It was very hot. Thank you for helping my sister and me through this difficult day. Your professional expertise is a strong asset for your company. Moore's Funeral Home is fortunate to have you on their staff."

  • "I just want you to know I called today to find out some information of my brother who died in 1960. I was greeted on the phone by Betty who told me she would look in the records and see what she could find. Within an hour I got a call from Wilma who gave me all the information I needed to possibly get my brother's death certificate. She read an article she had on file. I was so pleasantly surprised how nice these two people were! I live in Florida and have never received such customer service of this magnitude. Please let these two people know that I found them very comforting for a delicate situation. I can understand why my father used the services at a point at his life when he was very low, losing his son in a very traumatic way. Thank you very much. I appreciate these two very much and I hope they get recognized for their wonderful attitude and helpfulness. Thank you."
