Silvana Musi Lodato

Obituary for Silvana Musi Lodato January 10, 1937 - August 9, 2025 Missionary Silvana Musi Lodato, born January 10, 1937, in Milano, Italy, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 9, 2025, at the age of 88. A woman of unwavering faith, compassion, and purpose, Silvana lived a life wholly devoted to Christ, fulfilling the Great Commission through music, ministry, and love. From a young age, Silvana committed her life to Jesus and soon felt the call to missions. In 1958, she moved to Li�ge, Belgium, where she attended Bible school in Andrimont and ministered for twelve years alongside American missionaries Pastors Richard and Edith Scotti. Her ministry included evangelism and music outreach across Belgium, laying the foundation for a life of international impact. She later served with Drs. T.L. and Daisy Osborn in healing crusades throughout Holland, Belgium, and France, continuing her evangelistic ministry in Germany, Luxembourg, and Spain. Silvana immigrated to the United States in December 1970 and married Paul Lodato Sr., a Juilliard-trained violinist, musician, and U.S. Army-Air Force veteran, on December 30, 1970. Together, they faithfully served in music ministry at OSFO Church International under the Osborn's from 1973 to 1977. Silvana also worked for the Osborn Foundation from 1971 to 1973. They were blessed with three sons: David Lodato, born October 14, 1971, and twins Richard and Paul Jr., born October 25, 1975. After the untimely passing of her beloved husband on January 27, 1976, Silvana devoted herself to raising her children in the love and knowledge of the Lord. An active member of Evangelistic Temple Church from 1979 to 1986, Silvana participated in the sanctuary choir and various ministries. With a heart for children, she operated a state-licensed daycare in Oklahoma for over 20 years-what she lovingly referred to as a form of "marketplace ministry," touching countless young lives with care, faith, and integrity. From 1987 to 1996, she was a faithful member of Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, and from 1998 until her passing, she served actively in outreach and prayer ministry at Fisherman's House Church under Pastor Reza Safa. Silvana is remembered as a loving mother, a gifted singer, a tireless intercessor, and a dedicated minister who walked closely with her Savior. Her gentle strength, enduring faith, and heart for the lost leave a lasting legacy in the lives of her family, her community, and the many lives she impacted around the world. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Lodato Sr., and is survived by her three sons-David, Richard, and Paul Jr.-as well as her brothers, Orio Musi and David Musi, and her cherished granddaughter.
