Amanda Doan Trang Mai Thomas, 50, of Broken Arrow, OK, was tragically killed in an auto accident in Tulsa, County, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born in Vietnam on Thursday, January 20, 1972, to Duc The Mai and Kim Lan (Tran) Mai. Amanda, as she was known to all, was a successful business woman, and the owner of Mai Nails & Spa, in Tulsa, OK, where she enjoyed working and made life-long friends of her coworkers and many of her clientele. She was a member of Life Church, and married Michael Thomas, on October 20, 2020, at Fort Gibson, Lake. Amanda enjoyed the lake, fishing, hiking, and gardening. She had a true gift of hospitality, was an excellent cook, and loved bringing people together to eat and fellowship. Amanda is survived by her father, Duc The Mai and stepmother, Kim Phuong Mai; mother, Kim Lan Mai; husband, Michael Thomas of Broken Arrow; son, Christopher Ha of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Alexandra Ha of Tulsa, OK; stepsons, Jake Thomas of Columbus, GA, and Blake Thomas of Fayetteville, AR; sisters, Linda Mai Harris, and Mykah Mai, both of Tulsa, OK; brother; Mitchell Mai and wife, Melissa of California; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. Amanda will be greatly missed in the days ahead, and although she was taken from her earthly home way too soon, her spirit and memories will live on within each of us that were privileged to have her in our lives, or have been touched by her love, generosity and kindness.
