Bernard Lee Carson

November 8, 1942 - March 27, 2013

Carson, Bernard Lee, known as "Bernie" to his family and friends, 70, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was born Sunday, November 8, 1942, in Chanute, KS, to Neil Bernard and Iris Pauline (Carson) Bernard. Bernie retired from Coder Properties, was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was very talented and gifted musically, and enjoyed playing the guitar, the piano and singing. Bernie also enjoyed Nascar, collected eagles, and was very patriotic. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents; and half-brother, Victor Carson. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Naomi Carson; daughters, Gloria Brewer of Tulsa, OK, and Glenda Carson of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Adriel Brewer, Simone Brewer, Stavey Pickens, Jr., and Kyona Dake; great-grandchildren, Ethan Brewer, and Elijah Brewer; sister, Peggy Bridgewater and husband, Dennis, of Broken Arrow, OK; and a lifetime of friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2013, at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 74112 (918) 622-1155.
