A Celebration of Life for Betty Lou Hopp will be held on Friday, March 25, 10:00 AM at the Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Graveside Committal at Memorial Park Cemetery. Viewing will be on Wednesday and Thursday, March 23-24 from 12:00 to 8:00 PM. Visitation with her family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 24. Betty Lou (Adams) Hopp was born in Natural Dam, Arkansas on Wednesday, April 12, 1939, to Thomas Washington and Dora Ester (Cottrell) Adams. She passed from this life to her eternal home in heaven on Friday, March 18, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Betty was the youngest of five children born to the Adams. She graduated from Will Rogers high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1958. She married Richard Lee Hopp on June 9. She was best known as a wonderful homemaker, wife to Richard, and mother to Raymond and Dean. She also spent some time working for Tulsa Public Schools in the middle school cafeteria. However, her greatest joys later came with the births of her three grandchildren, Tiffany, Whitney, and Blake. She was a proud MeMe and loved them very much. Her love for her family and friends was so evident in the way she welcomed everyone with her beautiful smile and caring ways. She had the heart of a servant. She never once hesitated to pray for you in a time of need nor hesitated to praise the Lord in times of joy. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and it showed on a daily basis in everything she said and did. Betty was a treasure and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are: Son, Raymond Hopp Son, Dean Hopp and wife Tracie Hopp 3 Grandchildren: Tiffany Robinson (husband, Bradley), Whitney Hopp (fiance, Branden Hilderbrand), and Blake Hopp And several nieces, nephews, and cousins Those who preceded her in death are her husband, Richard Lee Hopp; parents, Thomas and Dora Adams; sister Zola Mae Cuzick; brothers Tom Wallace Adams, Norman Lynn Adams, and Noel Glenn Adams Moore's Southlawn 9350 E. 51st St. Tulsa, OK 74145 918-663-2233
