Charles Desmon "Cheerful" Jarvis, born October 24,1934, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa. Survived by wife, Sandy Jarvis of the home in Tulsa, his private Caretaker, Beryl Bolo, three sons, David Jarvis and wife, Joni of Houston, TX, Mark Jarvis and wife, Kay of Overland Park, KS and Chuck Jarvis and wife Heather, of Tulsa. Also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with extended family and friends. Charles was predeceased by his parents, Desmon and Alice Jarvis of Tulsa, his sister Martha Bowden and brother John Jarvis, also of Tulsa. Charles was a graduate of Webster High School in Tulsa, where he learned a trade that was later useful in business. In 1976, Charles founded DIVCO, Ins., an FAA-Certified Aircraft Shop, still active in the aviation field. For 40 years, Charles and Sandy had homes at Grand Lake and were regulars there. Charles was baptized as a young man, symbolizing his dedication to God and becoming active as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for the rest of his life. Currently, he and Sandy attended the Cedar Ridge Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, in Tulsa. A viewing is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, May 5th, at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held virtually, using the Zoom platform, on Saturday, May 7th beginning at 1:00 P.M.
