Corwin Ray Johnson was born in Belpre, Kansas to Jack and Elaine Johnson on August 14, 1938. He joins his parents, his first wife Sally, his sisters, along with a niece and a nephew in Heaven on Wednesday June 8, 2016.
Corwin or "Bub" as he was known then, graduated from Larned High School in Larned, Kansas. He attended Garden City Jr. College where he played basketball until an injury prevented him from continuing the sport he loved most. He finished is degree at Emporia State Teachers College with his Bachelors degree in Marketing. His career brought him to Tulsa in 1968, where he made Tulsa his long time home.
Corwin was retired from a life long career in oil and gas. Once he retired he didn't slow down, he couldn't, it wasn't in his nature. He worked as a handyman, fixing, repairing, or building anything he could draw on paper. Yes he used paper, computers and iPhones were not something he used with ease.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Elaine "Granny" Johnson, his first wife Sally Estelle Rankin Johnson, sister Jackie Johnson Vratil and her husband Harry and Beverly Johnson Huntzinger, his nephew Mike Huntzinger, and niece Vickie Huntzinger.
He is survived by his wife Donna, of the home; daughters Kathe Garman and husband John, of Tulsa, Lori Turner and husband Joseph of Colleyville, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ian Kiefer and wife Erica of Tulsa, Evan Kiefer of Houston, Texas, Renee Incaviglia Leone and husband Rob of Holbrook, NY, Nicholas Incaviglia of Colleyville, Texas, Alex Woolbright of Tulsa; two step-grandchildren, Megan Turner of Waco, Texas, and James Garman of Tulsa; great-grandson soon to arrive Nolan Robert Leone, and step-great-grandson Tyler along with a brother-in-law Bill Huntzinger, two nieces and two nephews and their families.
The family would like to thank all those who have been so supportive and spent time with him over the last months and especially his final weeks.

Services will be 10:00 A.M, Monday, June 13, 2016, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
