Frantz Wallace DeWeese, 102, born to James Vernon and Abba Francis (Admire) DeWeese on May 25, 1919 in Fallis, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022. He was preceded by his parents: James and Abba DeWeese; wife: Wanda DeWeese; son: Garry DeWeese; grandchild: James DeWeese; and sisters: Jessie Ann Henegar and Nena Reynolds. Frantz is survived by his daughter: LaWanda Kay Hubanks and her husband David; daughter-in-law: Sharon DeWeese; grandchildren: KaSondra Foster and her husband Stephen, Ricky Hubanks and his wife Shenelle and Charlie DeWeese and his wife Stephanie; great-grandchildren: Ashley Foster, Aaron Hubanks, Kayleigh Foster, Ashton Hubanks, Alec Hubanks, Parker DeWeese and Bennett DeWeese; nephew: Harold Wayne Reynolds; and nieces: Mary Kiker and Elaine Hacker. He survived the Great Depression and volunteered for the Civilian Conservation Corps so that his mom and sisters wouldn't starve. Frantz would walk several miles from the camp back home in the dark. He served four years in the Army during WWII in the western Pacific theater. He not only served his country but he also served the Lord from his teens until he went to meet his heavenly Father. Frantz and Wanda married on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941. He was a welder and retired from National Tank. He attended night school after working all day so that he could receive his diploma from Central High School in Tulsa, OK in 1970. He loved to read his Bible and read it through 133 times. One year he read it through once each month. When he wasn't reading his Bible, he could be found working in his shop that he made or tending his garden. He was married to the love of his life for 63 years when she got her heavenly wings. He lived for his kids and grandkids and great grandkids. He would pick them up after school. He was proud of all of them. Once, when he was 77, he threw out his shoulder playing football with Charley. He loved to sing and carried songs in his pockets. When he was younger, he was part of a quartet. Now he's part of the heavenly choir. Frantz will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22nd at Faith Bible Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moore's Memory Chapel 918-583-6148
