Hershel N. Harrell

April 14, 1932 - May 15, 2022

Hershel Neil Harrell, 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family the evening of May 15, 2022. Hershel was born to Eugene and Ruby Harrell on April 14, 1932 in Stigler, OK. He later moved to Tulsa, where he worked as a draftsman for Interstate Tool and Manufacturing for 56 years. Hershel served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant from 1953 to 1955. He was a proud member of Tulsa Baptist Temple and, later, Florence Street Baptist Church and daily read his Bible and prayed for his loved ones and numerous missionaries. Hershel was an avid gardener, lover of classic cars, and a sports fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys. He was quick-witted, with a fantastic sense of humor. Perhaps most importantly, he was a beloved dad and grandpa. Hershel was an inspiration and example, as he was loving, caring, and kind to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister (Juanita), wife (Betty), daughter (Cindy), and stepdaughter (Kathy). He is survived by daughters Toni Olson, Dona Windsor, Carla Goik, stepdaughter Connie Yott, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 10am-8pm, visitation 2pm-4pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022 and the Funeral Service is 10am, Monday, May 23, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Interment will be 3pm at Garland Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
