James W. Bryan

January 9, 1930 - April 5, 2022

James W. Bryan, 92, of Tulsa, OK, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at his residence. He was born on Thursday, January 9, 1930, in Talihina, OK, to Dick Yokum Bryan and Bernice (Pitchlynn) Bryan. James was an aircraft mechanic, and was married to Constance Ann "Connie" (Barber) Bryan, until her passing on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. James was an avid sports fan, enjoyed golfing, and was a season O.U. football ticket holder. He had an adventurous spirit, he was an avid golfer, liked to travel, and go to casinos. James also was very artistic and creative and participated in wood carving and stained glass. He was a people person, enjoyed socializing, eating at Jimmy's Egg restaurant on Saturdays, and was known for making great sausage balls. James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie; and four brothers. He is survived by his son, David Bryan of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Patricia Flinn and husband, Ronald of Houston, TX; grandson, Timothy Flinn and wife Sydney of Edmond, OK; great-granddaughter, Theresa "Reese" and a lifetime of friends. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 74112 The service will be available for viewing at www.moorefuneral.com.
