August 1, 1932 - February 14, 2022

Jimmy L. Harrison August 1, 1932 - February 14, 2022 Jimmy Lee Harrison passed away on February 14, 2022. He was 89 years old. Jim was the proud father of 3 children. He was father to one biological child. And he adopted two: a son and daughter, who preceded him in death. Jim was married to the love of his life, Nancy Marie Harrison, for 65 years. Jim loved the Tulsa Oilers Hockey Team and St. Louis baseball. He enjoyed golfing, and always had a good joke or two. He never met a stranger. Jim was born in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers High School and Tulsa University. He proudly served in the U.S. army. Jim married Nancy and moved to El Paso, Texas, where he had a career in the oil and gas business. After they returned to Tulsa he and Nancy became avid hockey fans and purchased a condominium in Branson where they enjoyed entertaining and going to the shows. Jim became good friends with Mickey Gilley. Jim was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Christian Explorers Community (Sunday School Class). Jim is survived by his son Doug, daughter-in-law Laurie, and grandson Cage. They invite you to join them for a homegoing service. The service will be Tuesday, February 22nd at 1:00 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S Memorial Drive, section 15, just south of the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Graveside Service 1pm Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
