Jo Taylor

April 18, 1967 - December 19, 2021

Viola "Jo" Taylor passed away December 19, 2021. Jo was born April 18 , 1967 in Roswell New Mexico. Jo attended Show Low High school where she graduated in 1986. After graduation, Jo went to work for Pima County Court System in Tucson AZ. Here she meet her best friend, and love of her life Daniel Taylor. They were married July 3rd 1990. Together they had one son Philip Taylor. In 1998 the three of them moved to Broken Arrow OK, where Jo took a job with Tulsa County. Jo recently retired from Tulsa County Sheriff Department in 2021. Some of Jo's favorite past times was bowling on her league with her husband, going to the Hard Rock, and crocheting blankets for her family and friends. Jo's unselfish love extended out into the community through her volunteer work with Wild Heart Ranch Rescue. Jo also loved going out to eat with her family and friends. Oh and let's not forget baseball!! Jo was the biggest Washington Nationals fan in Oklahoma. Go Nats! Jo was preceded in death by her mother Donna Collins of Tucson AZ. Jo was survived by her husband Daniel Taylor, and her son Philip Taylor. She was also survived by her Father Paul Collins, and her step mother Linda Collins, as well as her brothers and sisters, Russel Collins, Donald Collins Rose Hatfield, Julie Coffman, and Glenn Collins. In lieu of gifts the family would like donations to be made to Wild Heart Ranch Rescue. . Memorial Service 2:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St. Tulsa, OK. A small reception will be held at the family home at 6pm. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
