Lester Allen Ghan

October 10, 1940 - April 2, 2022

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Lester A. Ghan. He was a bright spark in this world and he will be deeply missed by many. We know he has touched the lives of so many people. Lester Allen Ghan was born on October 10, 1940 at home in the small town of Purdy, Missouri. Lester passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, April 2rd, 2022 at Montereau retirement community in Tulsa Okla. He is survived by his wife Anita Ghan; his two sons Randy A. Ghan and Rodney H. Ghan and his wife Sheryl E. Ghan; a Grandson Stuart W. Ghan, his wife Tasha Ghan: Great granddaughter Isla Francis; Stepson Greg Holden and his wife Caroline, Granddaughters Maddy and Hannah Holden; Stepdaughters Susie Anderson, granddaughter Jessica Anderson and LeeAnna Weaver her husband Jim and grandson Dylan. Lester was well known as an out going full of life person in his life. Once married and starting a family he began focusing on raising that family. He was in the National Guard. As time moved on, he became well known in the grocery industry for operating and owning his own grocery store. He was a fierce competitor during his ownership of Les' Thirty Wise. The neighborhood area in Tulsa deeply respected and appreciated his kindness and service. When he closed his store, he moved on as personnel consultant and thrived due to his extraordinary skill in communicating with people. He deeply loved his family and we take comfort in knowing that Lester is now in heaven and at peace surrounded by light. Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, April 12th, 2022 at Montereau Retirement Community Chapel located at 6800 South Granite Ave., Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Oklahoma Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Givenow.lls.org Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
