Margaret L. "Peggy" Orr

December 11, 1930 - April 4, 2022

Peggy was born in Illinois on December 11, 1930. Her journey on earth was completed on April 4, 2022, her soul carried home by our Lord and Savior. She was 91 years old. Strong in her faith, Peggy and her husband Dwight M. Orr, Sr. made a home in Tulsa, OK where they raised their four children. She was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church until they retired, moving to Lake Eufaula. Her life revolved around her family, ensuring their needs were met before hers. She created a safe and loving home where meals were shared at the table, and open conversation was encouraged without judgment. We were blessed to have had this strong, loving and caring woman as a role model. She will be greatly missed. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Everett Sprangler. In 2011, she lost her husband Dwight after 61 years of marriage, and her son Carol Orr in 1996. She is survived by her remaining children, Dwight M. Orr, Jr. of Sapulpa, Curtis Orr of Tulsa, and Laura Horn and her husband Jon of Norman, OK. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Christopher Orr, Angela Harrison and her husband Judson, Savannah Horn, and Braden Horn. She was a great grandmother to seven. We would like to thank Compassus Hospice of Tulsa for the care rendered during our mother's final months while she lived with her son Dwight. Graveside Service wlll be 12pm, Friday, April 8, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to John 3:16 Mission of Tulsa or the American Red Cross. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
