Marlene Rae Phillips

March 25, 1935 - March 3, 2022

Marlene Rae Phillips, 86, formerly of Tulsa died Thursday, March 3, 2022. She was born March 25, 1935 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Orville Wilson and Evelyn Woods Wilson. She married Roy D. Phillips and he preceded her in death in 2014. She was a school secretary for the Tulsa Public School System having worked at Byrd, Eisenhower and Foster schools. She lived most recently at Baptist Village in Broken Arrow where she also attended church services. She previously was a member of South Tulsa Baptist Church. She is survived by daughter, Leigh Anne and her husband Walt Barrick of Friendswood, Texas; and two sons, Michael Phillips of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Steve Phillips of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Paige, Emmy, Seth, Chandler and Dylan; three great grandchildren, Evan, Beau and Leni. Donations can be made in Marlene's memory to the Tulsa Boys Home. Graveside Service will be 12PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
