Adrian "Bing" Alexander Nearing, 89, passed away on February 5th, 2025, in Tulsa, Ok.

On July 23, 1935, Bing was born to Ad and Betty Nearing in Glace Bay, Canada. He attended St Annes Catholic High School. After working in the "pits" for a few months in Glace Bay he decided that was not for him, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1952. After his time in the RCAF he moved away from the snow to sunny California in 1955.

Bing was a devoted Hockey fan. The Toronto Maple Leafs were his team. He loved to dance - I'm told he was very good. He enjoyed a good red wine, fine food and a nice piece of pie. Aviation was his life. He loved talking about the days when he was on the Smirnoff air racing team in the early 60's. He traveled extensively to almost every large country in the world with his jobs. He lived in France, England and several places in the U.S. Those that knew him knew he was an expert in the aviation business.

He leaves behind his sister Jackie Nemo, daughter Normajean Rosenberger and son-in-law Mark Rosenberger. Two sons, Gary Nearing, John Nearing and partner Marissa Chandler. Granddaughter Elyse Curtis and Grandson -in-law Jake Curtis. Granddaughter Melissa Russell and Grandson-in-law Blake Russell. Grandson Charlie Rosenberger. Great Grandchildren Jaxon and Ensley Curtis. Nephew Jeff Rhode and his wife Mindy Rhode. Niece Cheryl Sherry.

We also want to give a special shout out to his fishing buddies, you know who you are - he loved spending time with all of you catching those Walleyes, Northern Pikes and Trout.

Last, but certainly not least, Clay "Uncle Sandy" Campbell, his childhood buddy who held a very special place in his heart.
