Alaina Gail Courtney was born August 7th, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Randall and Lorna Courtney. She left this earth on September 25th, 2021, at the age of 41 years. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Evon Courtney of Okmulgee. She is survived by three daughters, Tabitha Reyes of Tulsa; Brittany and Joe Pratt and her favorite grandson, Zayne of Tulsa; Jami and Chris, Serenity and Zachary Pratt of Okmulgee, OK and her partner Joshua Pettitt of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by her parents, Randall and Lorna Courtney of Tulsa, OK; her brothers, Kendall and Katie, Saige and Jace Courtney of Beggs, OK and Benjamin and Leslie, Olivia, Caroline, Caleb and Dillan Courtney of Owasso, OK; her sister, Sarah and Brian, Hannah and Alyssa Ratzlaff of Verdigris, OK and many more family and friends.
Alaina was a registered nurse and loved taking care of people. She was always cheering on her OSU Cowboys. She enjoyed fishing, camping and chasing every storm she could. She loved going on adventures with her friends. Her pride and joy was her Zayne Brain Pikachu. She was an amazing mamaw, mother, daughter, sister, nurse and friend and will be greatly missed.
Alaina fought many battles including Lupus, cancer and mental health. She fought courageously through Covid for 22 days. She wasn't only a strong woman but very brave and loving. She is a hero to many. She would want everyone to remember her for the love she had for her family and friends and most of all, for her free spirit.
Viewing will be 2PM-8PM, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Moore's Southlawn with family greeting friends from 6-8PM. Memorial Service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Restoration Church of God of Prophecy, 8120 Old North Road, Sand Springs, OK.
