Albert Newell Day, 74, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020. He was born August 27, 1945 in Monmouth, IL to Forrest, Sr. and Lulu Day. Albert was a construction worker and enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, bird watching and tinkering around the house. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dena Day; his children, Michael Day of Tulsa, Carman Padilla and husband Jose of San Diego, CA, Heather Day of Tulsa; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; his sisters, Sharon Munson of CO, Ellen Nelson and husband James of IL, Paula Thompson of Tulsa; and his brother, David Day of OK. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sally Day, Patricia Hopkins; brothers, Forrest Day, and Rodney Day.
