Albert "Al" James Meyer, 95, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 26, 1923 in Hesston, Kansas to Arthur Claus Meyer and Rachel Deborah (Brady) Meyer.

Al was a retired electrical engineer for Public Service of Oklahoma and attended Asbury United Methodist Church. He married Ruth Marie Huxman on January 28, 1944 in Arnold, Kansas.

Al was predeceased in death by his loving wife, Ruth Marie Meyer on December 13, 2018 and her parents. He is survived by his son, Steve Meyer and his wife, Joan of Broken Arrow, OK; daughters, Julie Wells and her husband, Steve of Claremore, OK and Jan Bannon and her husband, Mike of Checotah, OK; grandchildren, Jason Wells and his wife, April of Elmhurst, IL, Ben Wells and his wife, Jonnie of Maitland, FL, Lisa Selph of Moore, OK, Amanda McConnell and her husband, Jason of Broken Arrow, OK and Melissa Meyer and her husband, Jeff Cox of Broken Arrow, OK; 8 great-grandchildren and sister, Opal Craney.

Visitation will be 4-6 PM, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK.
