Obituary

Alexander Carlton Huckett, 29, passed away on December 30, 2018.
Alex was born to Bruce Huckett and Susan (Huckett) Conn in Tulsa on May 10, 1989. He attended Eliot Elementary, Edison Junior High, and Edison High School, from which he graduated in 2008. He went on to work in the automobile leasing business. For the last 7 years, Alex performed various duties at Transportation Leasing Company. He always took pride in any job assigned and made certain that vehicles were delivered in top condition to their clients. He also delivered and instructed customers on the use of handicap vehicles - an area in which his caring nature truly shone while working with people with disabilities and their families.

In addition to his compassionate nature, Alex was smart, creative and funny. He loved a good joke and had a wonderful way of putting others at ease. If you ever needed a movie or tv recommendation, Alex was the best source. More than anything, Alex loved his family with all his heart. And, his family and all who ever knew Alex, loved him just as much. He will be missed beyond description. A hole in our hearts can never be fully healed. But we take solace in knowing God is providing the Peace that only He can provide. A Peace that Alex wanted and needed more than we knew.

Alex is survived by his mother and step-father, Susan Conn and Chris Conn; father and step-mother, Bruce and Mary Huckett; brother and sister-in-law David and Sonata Huckett; sister and brother-in-law Stephanie and Kurtis Koenigsknecht; step-sisters and brothers-in-law, Liz and Blake McMahon and Sarah and Brett Burton; aunt and uncle Bev and Bobby Latimer; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Doris Huckett and Burrel and Geny Shaddock.
