Alfred "Al" Ray Ford, Sr., 91, passed away Monday May 29, 2017 in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was born to Alfred Wallace, Jr. and Violet Ann (Ray) Ford on December 17, 1925 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Al was a brick, stone and marble mason along with welding. He was a member of P.C.C., V.F.W. and American Legion. President of pack 35 cub scout group and a member of V.F.W. district honor guard and rifle squad.
Al was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred and Violet; sons: Lloyd Allen Ford and Alfred "Ray" Ford, Jr.; daughter in law: Dollie Ford; brothers: Everette Wallace Ford and John Ford; sisters: Dorothea Childress and Margaret Carmichael.
He is survived by his wife: Diana Ford; son: Delamer "Del" Ford and wife Sandra; daughter: Monica Reeves and husband Frank; daughter in law: Carol Ford; sister: Betty Ann Weddle; brother: James Ford; sister in law: Dorothy Jean DeVore; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.
Al will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK 74120.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at Moore's Memory Chapel.
