Gebbs, Alfred H. Jr., 88 of Tulsa passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born May 6, 1924 in New Orleans, LA. He was a Tulsa Resteraunteur and most recently was employed with Ted?s Pipe Shop. He was a US Marine and member of Saint?s Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He was vice president of the Home School Association, St?s Peter and Paul, past Deanery Advisory Board Catholic Church Northeast OK, Marine Corps League, School Board Bishop Kelley, Board of Directors Downtown Tulsa Unlimited, Downtown YMCA, Neighborhood Commissioner of the Boy Scouts of America. He was involved in many civic organizations, enjoyed cigars and pipes, cooking, reading, writing and family. Survived by daughters Sandra Combs and husband Glendon, Linda Raska, Debra Gebbs, 8 grandchildren, Lori Raska, Lisa Stahl and husband Brian, Christopher Ashley, Lauren Combs, Shannon Bowman, Kristen Ecker and husband Brandon, Alfred Gebbs, Jr. ?DJ?, 8 great grandchildren, sisters Shirley Boudreaux and June Aymami of New Orleans. Preceded in death by wife Hazel Gebbs, son Alfred D. Gebbs, parents and brother Leo Gebbs. Memorial contributions may be made to ?St. Pius X School Capital Campaign?.
