Alice June Jackson (née Pollack), 82, of Tulsa, passed away on April 26, 2026. Born on April 13, 1944, in Eskridge, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late James Walter Pollack and Mary Louise (Tannyer) Pollack. Alice taught high school speech and drama. She also bought and sold Native American art.
Alice held many careers utilizing her many unique skills, ranging from managing and maintaining oil derricks to providing tax preparation services. Alice was a member of the Presbyterian church. She had a profound zest for life and a passion for travel. She went on more than 60 cruises throughout her lifetime. When she wasn't at sea, Alice found peace and inspiration in the Southwest. She loved traveling to Santa Fe and Taos, where she was a frequent visitor and supporter of the Native American art markets. She also loved animals, caring for her beloved buffalo Cody, and in her final years, loved spending time feeding her squirrels, bunnies and birds.
Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 23 years, Saber Jackson, who passed away in 2017. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Metz. She is survived by her sister, Jane Dickinson of Tulsa, and her three stepchildren, Deborah Gottschalk and Jerry Jackson, both of Oologah, OK and Leigh Martin of Bartlesville, OK. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Barkley, Corey Charles, George Gottschalk, Jerry Jackson, Tim Russell, and Keith Russell.
