Alice L. McIntyre

Funeral services for Alice L. McIntyre will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 25, 1976, at the Cantrell Ivory Chapel with Brother Ralph Baldwin, of the Church of Christ, officiating.

Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Davis-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Mrs. McIntyre, born on Monday, January 1, 1900, in Oklahoma, died Friday, October 22, 1976, in a Tulsa hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had lived in Okmulgee, OK, for 59 years. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Betty Acree, Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Juanita Green, Okmulgee, OK, Mrs. Joyce J. Caves, Kansas City, KS, Mrs. Donna Gilstrap, San Bernardino, CA., and Mrs. Betty Butnam, Tulsa, OK; one son, Bob McIntyre, Sperry, OK; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Mauldin, Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Janette Wilson, Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Sarah Daniels, Highland Park, CA., and Mrs. Cora Owens of Wichita, KS.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bissett, Vernon Ashley, Porter Houston, Roy Pope, Orville Spears and Russell Jones.


Her parents were George Rice and Lillian Pearl (Hahn) Rice, who both preceded her in death, and she married Alba Charles McIntyre, in 1917, who died in 1954. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Vivian Jefferson Lee, and sister and brother-in-law, Mrs. Alta M. Worthington and husband William.
