Alice Thomas Quigley passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 7, 1935. Alice was preceded in death by her father Justus Collins Stubbs, mother Verna Florence Stubbs, brother Cecil Stubbs, sister Voncile Adkins, devoted husband George Michael Quigley, and son Steven Ross Thomas. She was survived by son Michael C. Thomas (wife Laurie Phillips-Thomas), daughter Cassandra T. Funderburk, son William Douglas Thomas (wife Kim Thomas), grandsons Michael S. Thomas, Tyler Funderburk (wife Aimee Funderburk), Joshua Funderburk, Andrew Funderburk (wife Christina Funderburk), granddaughter Amber Thomas, and great granddaughter Birdi Lynn.
Alice was a devoted Christian who enjoyed praising the Lord through song. She was a retired office manager working as a top leader at the Tulsa County Election Board and in the petroleum field. She was extremely creative and enjoyed knitting, cross-stitching, painting, and other crafts. She enjoyed playing games including cards and competitive games with her grandkids. Alice will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her listening ear, kindness, humor, and her love for her family.
