Allen Blackburn was born on June 8, 1959, to Robert William Blackburn and Clara Louise Van Horn Blackburn, in Gary, Indiana. The Blackburns lived in Indiana during Allen's youth, and Allen attended high school in Indiana. Allen took an interest in firearms from an early age, and was a gun enthusiast all of his life. Allen moved to the Tulsa area in the early 1980s.
After they met where they were both employed, Allen married Cheryl Ridley August 15, 1999, at Tulsa Christian Fellowship, which is their church home. The couple had a son, Sean, a year later. Allen's last employment was as a security guard in Tulsa.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, and by two siblings, William Blackburn and Judy Davis. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, son Sean, and siblings Robert William Blackburn, Jr., and Richard Blackburn of Tulsa, Janet Hall of Broken Arrow, and Jimmy Blackburn of Owasso.
Allen passed from this life into eternity with Christ on Friday, December 16 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa after a week's hospitalization. Interment is at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
