Alma Osborne was born August 22nd, 1935 to Bradley and Stella Thompson in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She graduated to Glory on December 1st, 2015 at the age of 80, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her 5 brothers, Warren (Jack) Thompson, Granville (Chub) Thompson, Wendell (Jinx) Thompson, Brad Thompson, and James (Jim) Thompson, and her daughter Melissa K. Angel.
She leaves behind her husband, James H. Osborne of 57 years, and her son, Kevin Osborne and daughter-in-law Nella Osborne and their two children Callie and Ben. Also her son Greg Osborne and daughter-in-law Natalie Osborne and their three children Matthew, Lauren, and Kara. Alma was also thankful for her only Great Granddaughter, Camden.
The majority of Alma's career was spent as an administrative assistant at Cohen enterprises. On Sunday and Wednesday evenings, you would find her and her family at Immanuel Baptist Church. In her latter years she attended church at First Baptist of Broken Arrow, rejoicing in the Lord.
Alma loved the outdoors, and spent her spare time camping with relatives and close friends. She was a wonderful dancer, and at one time, belonged to three local square dance groups. She loved doing puzzles and swinging on the back porch with her grandchildren. Her love for the Lord and fierce devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. Alma and James led their family down a most noble path.
Public viewing will be 8:00 A.M. til 8:00 P.M., Friday, December 4th, at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5th, at 12:00 P.M., at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
