She was born in Pawhuska, OK, December 7, 1896, to Nicholas A. Girard and Amelia Victoria Del Orier Girard. Amelia is survived by her cousins, Victoria Duckett of Tulsa, OK, Lillian Mathews, Marie Mathews and Joe Mathews, all of Pawhuska, OK, and Florence Feighn of Arizona; godchildren, Nichols A. Fortune of Oklahoma City, OK, and Deborah Elizabeth Fortune of Norman, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and 4 sisters, Ida P. Girard (died in 1897), Marie Girard Galvin (died in 1959), Corinne A. Girard (died in 1939, and Leona G. Girard Everitt (died March 26, 1978).
