My name is Andrea Holland and I passed away on Saturday, September 13th of 2025. I was born on Monday, August 26th, 1940, along with my identical twin, Sandrea Lee. Sandrea lived only for a short time; however, I believe I have felt her absence all my life. I look forward to being reunited with my mother, Mary Hazel Holland, my father, James Parker Holland, my brother, David Parker Holland, my sister, Judy Belle Campbell and brother-in-law, Clealon Campbell. Their children have always been a wonderful part of my life.
I graduated from Central High School in Tulsa, OK with the fabulous Class of 1958 and attended Oklahoma State University. I studied classical music on the piano and loved it all my life. I discovered my love for this music at about 6 when my parents let me continually play an old 78 record containing songs by the Great Caruso singing "Because" and "O Sole Mio". My other great passion was listening and dancing to the great rock and roll songs of the 1950's and 60's. It was exciting to experience the "new" music being created.
I worked at Arther Anderson & Co., and Ernst & Young, and later took a position as Executive Assistant to the President at Blue Cross & Blue Shield. I also enjoyed photography. The largest and best part of my life involved my son, Jeffrey James Dixon and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dixon-Dexheimer. My son and his wife, Marcy Walkingstick blessed our family with two beautiful granddaughters, Kelsey and Kerbie, as well as two great granddaughters and grandson. My daughter blessed our family with a wonderful grandson, John and a beautiful granddaughter, Sarah as well as two grandsons and three granddaughters. All my greatest moments involved my children, who taught me what love really is and how to be brave and more flexible. I also love and am grateful for my other family of Bill W. friends.
We will be having Andrea's memorial service at Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel on Wednesday, November 26th at 10:00 am. 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, OK 74145
