Angela Christine Mills, 65 of Jenks, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born September 12, 1949 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, a daughter of Rolland Franklin and Zelma Sullivan Franklin.
Angela was a homemaker and a member of First Apostolic Church of Tulsa. Angela was very active in the church and enjoyed helping out at Apostolic Christian Academy. She was a loving wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved attending various church functions and had a great sense of humor. Angela was a very talented seamstress, making outfits for her grandchildren as well as a talented crocheter making afghans.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Mills of the home; her mother, Zelma Sullivan Franklin of Bakersfield, California; one son, Richey Mills and his wife Melissa of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Shelly Mills of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Gilberetta McElroy of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sherayah Knight and husband Derrick, Meykah Mills, Logan Mills, Harley Mills, Cheraty Huse, and Khristian Huse; great-grandchildren, Malauna Knight, Zoe Knight, Isabella Huse, and Erica Huse; one brother, Ricky Franklin and wife Cindy of Bakersfield, California; and two sisters, Pamela Mang and husband Edward "Buddy" and Kay Walls, both of Bakersfield, California. She was preceded in death by her father, Rolland Franklin and one son, Michael Mills.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 with family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at Moore Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at First Apostolic Church of Tulsa, located at 9065 New Sapulpa Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74131. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
