Family and friends, today, we have come together to grieve and celebrate the life of Joey, who was the most kind, gentle, loving, caring person, who if you were around him you know he was a true, son, brother, uncle, and friend or coworker to all of those around him.
He was a person when you visited or talked to was a blessing to be around; his laughter was contagious and genuine. He was always so welcoming to your heart you would want to stay and visit more. I met Joey when his brother Tony took me to meet him at passions and right away, I felt like I had known him my whole life. Everyone there loved him like family and still kept in touch with him. Then after 14 years he went to Walmart and was there 7 years and he was loved there also. All of my 21 years I have been honored to have him in my life; I realized he was a wonderful friend and family member and coworker everyone loved and adored.
Joey was taken from us too soon, but I believe our Father in heaven gave him to us to teach us how to be kind and gentle and loving and compassionate. We should all leave here today knowing Joey has his big open arms around us all to remind us the world is rough and tough right now and we all should learn a lesson from his life. Life is way too short and when you least expect it things can change.
He leaves behind his mom Jean Torre; a sister, Barbara Torre; and 3 brothers, Don Torre, Bobby Torre, Anthony Torre and lots of friends of "some" who will truly miss him!
RIP, my brother and friend whom I will miss dearly.
Love, your sis-n-law,
Monica Torre
