Anna Mary Scott, 84, of Tulsa, OK, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 19, 1975, at Four Seasons Nursing Home, Tulsa, OK. Anna previously resided with her daughter, Aletha Rowe, in Tulsa, OK, until she became very ill in April of 1974, when she moved to Four Seasons Nursing Home.
Anna was born on Monday, September 22, 1890, in Jefferson County, NE, to Alfred "Al" Flannigan Hawkins and Karen Marie "Cary Mary" (Christensen) Hawkins. She married the love of her life, Charlie David Scott on July 16, 1909, in Major County, OK, and they were married 34 years, until he went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 15, 1943. Charlie was a butcher for many years, both in Oklahoma and Kansas. Anna was a member of the Assembly of God Church for over 60 years.
Anna's father made the Oklahoma Land Run of 1889, and from that time until his death, they occupied the farm obtained in that Run, in Cleo Springs, OK. Her mother came to the U. S. as a child, from Denmark.
Anna is survived by 3 daughters, Pearl Viola Epperson of Pacifica, CA, Mrs. H. A. "Mary" Daniel of Tulsa, OK, and Anna Aletha Rowe of Tulsa, OK; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Chris Robert Hawkins of Cleo Springs, OK; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Edna Davidson and Mrs. Alma Rodrick, both of Enid, OK; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie David Scott; sister, Lyda Davis; and 2 brothers, Clarence Hawkins, and Lawrence Edman Hawkins.
