Ann (Anna Faye) Voris, 87, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her husband and two daughters. Ann was born August 29, 1926 in Glenwood, AR. She graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1948 and worked in Hope, AR and Shreveport, LA before marrying Dick Voris of Davenport, IA. The rest of her life was devoted to loving well her husband, her family, her friends and her church. She was an active member in her community and loved to cook, entertain, volunteer and serve. She will be best remembered for how she mentored and loved all those she came in contact with. She was a 40 year member of First Baptist Church and also enjoyed attending First Presbyterian Church with her husband. The family is especially grateful for the care and concern shown by the Body of Christ throughout these days.

Ann is survived by: her husband of 57 years, Dick Voris; her two daughters, Sandra Brown (Wayne) of Colorado Springs, CO and Susan Atkinson (Chuck) of Arkadelphia, AR; one sister, Kathy Harn (Lee) of Houston, TX; one brother-in-law, Hugh Brown of Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many other extended family members. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Homer Edgar and Faye E. Thrash; and one sister, Viva Ed Brown.
