Obituary

Annette Parker, a devoted wife, mother, granny, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 2, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Beryl and Lydia Ford, Annette's life was a testament to love, kindness, and resilience.

Annette grew up in a lively household with her brothers-Russell, Robert, Ronald, Richard, and Ross-creating cherished memories that shaped her nurturing spirit. A graduate of Nathan Hale High School in 1972, she later earned an Associate Degree from Tulsa Community College in 2002 and achieved her SPHR certification in human resources, reflecting her commitment to excellence and growth.

On May 30, 1980, Annette married Dennis Parker, the love of her life. Together, they built a life of devotion and partnership, raising four children: Steven James Landrum (Amy), Justin Dean Parker, William Brent Landrum (Allison), and Caryn Denise Perrier (Michael). Annette's children and her grandchildren-Colten, Lexi, Lydia, and Hunter-were her greatest joys, and her love for them was immeasurable
.
For 30 years, Annette owned Green Grove Pecans, a family farm that became a beloved gathering place. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication transformed it into a cherished legacy.

Annette faced life's challenges with courage and grace, particularly as she battled ALS. Even in adversity, her strength and faith inspired everyone around her. She leaves behind her husband Dennis; her children and their spouses; her grandchildren; siblings Russell, Robert, Richard (Vickie), and Ross (Lisa); her mother-in-law Helen Parker; her sister-in-law Maylin Hill (Ron); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Beryl and Lydia Ford; her brother, Ronald Dean Ford; her sisters-in-law Carol and Julia Ford; and her father-in-law Charles Parker.

Annette's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering strength. She taught us to embrace life with courage and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to ALS research in Annette's honor. A Celebration of Life honoring Annette Parker will be held 1:00PM Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Moore Southlawn Chapel, followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
