Annie E. Tobler, 70, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 1977, in Tulsa, OK. She was born on Friday, April 12, 1907, in Haskell County, Kanima, OK, the fifth of ten children, to Doyle Coston Spiers and Kate Isabella G. (Sheppard) Spiers. Annie was married to Ulrich Walter Tobler, Sr. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Dorothye Ann Tobler; grandson, Douglas Edward Tobler; brother, Ora C. Spiers of Spiro, AR; 5 sisters, Eunice Keck of Tulsa, OK, Bessie "Bess" Pittman Russell of Hunt, TX, Winnie Dee Bishop Jabara and husband, Joseph Ford "Joe" Jabara of Oklahoma City, OK, LillIe Wells of Springdale, AR, and Lela Gunn of Locust Grove, OK; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Emmett Spiers of Holly, TX, and Jessie C. Spiers of St. Louis, MO; sister, Pauline Spiers of Holly, TX; and brother-in-law, William Atha "W. A." Bishop. Annie will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
