Arian Christopher Lakey was born November 4, 1973 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Larry and Linda Lakey. Arian passed too soon from this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 during a tornado that hit in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Arian graduated from Woodward High School in 1992 and graduated Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy in 1999. Arian worked as a Pharmacist for two years and most recently as a pipeline inspector all over the United States. Arian was a very loving son and was sole care taker for his father for the last several months. Anyone who ever knew him could not help but love him for his funny sense of humor and loving nature for anyone he ever met. Once you met Arian he made a lasting impression on you that you knew you wanted him in your life as a friend. Arian loved soccer and was a big fan of the Manchester United Soccer Team. Arian loved dogs and loved his best friend and pal Nelson who survived the tornado.
He loved football and the Oklahoma Sooners. Mostly, he was special to his two nephews Stratton and Merritt and a very loving son to his parents.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Tarpley her husband Gary of Dallas, Texas; his father Larry Lakey of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two sisters, Tammie Lamle and husband Kevin of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jamie Harrison of Dallas, Texas; one step-sister, Kimberly Tarpley of Dallas, Texas; one step-brother, Bryan Tarpley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two nephews Stratton Lamle and Merritt Benavidez; and many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel with Pastor Kris Lamle officiating. The funeral home is located at 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
