Arthur Earl Baker, 69, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Monday, May 16, 1977, at his residence. He was born on Friday, June 21, 1977, at Kansas City, KS, to Francis Joseph Baker and Ellen (Lundane) Baker. Arthur was married to Nova (Forstell) Baker, and had moved to Tulsa in 1928. He was a long-time draftsman and designer for the Dickason-Goodman lumber and furniture firms. He retired in 1973, but continued his association with Dickason-Goodman on a part-time basis. Arthur had been an employee for 49 years. He had designed many of the residences in Tulsa's Woody Crest Addition, in addition to all the company properties. Arthur is survived by his wife, Nova; daughter, Lt. Cmdr. Mary Ellen Baker of Twentynine Palms, CA; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arthur will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
