It is with sadness, yet much joy that we announce the peaceful passing of AT Gibson, age 97 and Marjean Simpson Gibson, age 96, who left this world just one day apart after nearly 76 years of marriage. Their love story began in 1949 and spanned nearly a lifetime, filled with shared memories, unwavering devotion to each other, and the joy of a growing family. AT and Marjean were both born in 1928 and spent their lives creating a home and family rooted in love, kindness, and faith. Together, they raised four children-Jeannie [d. 1991]; (Steve and wife Leslie) Ives, John (Denise) Gibson, Judy (Chris) Donner, Carl (Gayla) Gibson -who will carry forward their legacy of love and togetherness. They were also blessed with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in their hearts. Throughout their 76 years together, AT and Marjean were pillars of strength and devotion to one another. Their bond was an example of what true partnership looks like, and they cherished every day spent in each other's company. Whether through quiet moments at home or joyous gatherings with family, they remained a constant source of love and wisdom. Their passing leaves a hole in the hearts of their family and all who knew them. However, their legacy lives on in the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends who were fortunate enough to know their gentle spirits and enduring love. A celebration of their lives will take place at the Anglican Church of the Holy Spirit, Tulsa, on Saturday, May 3rd at 1:00 pm., followed by a private family burial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Anglican Church of the Holy Spirit in their memory. May they rest in peace, united in eternity, just as they were in life.
