Austin Ray "Tex" Broad, 25, gained his wings on July 26, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born January 1st, 1998 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert Gene Broad, Jr. and Christina Maria Brown.

Austin loved his kids and family more than anything. His work was very important to him. He was very good at everything he set his mind to. He touched many people's lives with his passion as a tattoo artist, he loved making people happy and helping people feel better. He was always on the go and always wanting to be out in nature, he would have lived outside if he could. Bonfires were his peace, that man could make a fire out of anything, and if you needed something cooked, he was quick to whip some sort of makeshift grill.

Austin was always willing to do anything and everything he could for anyone, it was just his loving nature. He loved his dog, Honey Dew Melons, they did everything together from hiking to traveling, they were one in the same. He was such a big kid, he always loved playing with the kids and they loved him so much, he could play all day long with the babies and it never got old to him. No matter what he always wore the biggest smile that we will never forget. He was a blessing in so many people's lives and will forever have an impact on everyone he ever met.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Gene Broad, Sr. and Ema Lou Broad.
He is survived by his father Robert Gene Broad Jr; mother Christina Marie Brown; children Jameson Russell Broad, Aurora Broad and Atreus Ray Broad; brother Jonathon Broad; sisters Lyrica Broad, Britni Miller, Bella Broad; nephew Lucius Ray Snyder; grandfather James Brown; grandmother Debbie Inbody as well as many beloved cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

Viewing for Tex will be Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 10:00AM to 8:00PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
