Obituary

Austin Kent Daigle, of Tulsa, passed away on March 25, 2020 at age 28. He was born October 10, 1991 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Stephen Kent Daigle and Pamela Rene Wegner. He graduated from Union High School in 2010 and then attended college at the University of Oklahoma. After transferring to Northeastern State University, Austin earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.

Austin served 4 years with the Tulsa County Sheriff Department, first as a Detention Officer and then a Deputy Sheriff. Most recently, Austin spent extended time abroad, traveling to Latin America to explore other cultures and languages while teaching English.

Austin's family describe him as the pulse and heartbeat of the family. He was a cherished son, brother, cousin, and friend- a good hearted man and the life of every gathering. Austin had a spirit that was unmatched, and the sweetest, most sensitive soul. He had a passion for art, music, and exploring other cultures. He loved to turn the music up loud, and could make you laugh until you cried. He knew exactly how to push your buttons, and thrived in relentless trash talk during family game nights or any ballgame. Austin always told family he would rather have time with them over a material gift. Austin will be deeply missed, but forever in our hearts.

Austin is survived by his mom, Pam Wegner, and his dad, Steve Daigle; sister, Cassie Spicer and husband Scott, sister Ashley, brother Dillon And sister Bella Holt; nieces Lottie and Gracie Spicer, grandparents Louanne Louze, Dann and Judy Daigle and countless family, friends and loved ones.

A small graveside service will be held for immediate family on Thursday, April 2, 2020. Family and friends will be invited to a larger gathering to celebrate Austin's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would be most honored by your presence at this event.
