Ava Brown, 86, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Sapulpa, OK. She was born on Tuesday, June 20, 1939, in Stillwater, OK, to Vaudell (DePriest) Bennett and Robert Bennett.

Ava enjoyed going out to eat, socializing, attending church, and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of Metro Faith Christian Church in Tulsa, OK. Her grandkids lovingly called her "Banna."

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, James Brown; her sister, Peggy Rainey; her daughter, Jaime Ann Musto; and her son, Paul Robert Brown.

Ava is survived by her son, Jerry Brown of Los Angeles, CA; her daughter, Kathy Swasho of Tulsa, OK; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
