Barbara Sue (Ferrero) Blair, 85, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
Barbara was born in Henryetta, Oklahoma on October 31, 1936 to Joe Ferrero and Willie Mae (Wallace) Ferrero. She graduated high school from St. Michael's in Henryetta and attended Oklahoma State Tech to complete her Associates Degree.
Barbara moved to Tulsa, and met her future husband, Buddy W. Blair. On January 11, 2022 they celebrated 65 years of marriage. Together, they raised two sons: Randy Blair and Scott Blair.
Barbara worked and retired from Chevron/Texaco; however, her greatest love, besides her family, was the Lord. She served in many different capacities at church over the years, but Missions was a huge part of her life. For many years she devoted time and energy to the support and care of the many missionaries that she and Buddy knew and loved. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Broken Arrow.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father and mother; her brother William "Billy" Ferrero and sister Ann (Ferrero) Davidson. She is survived by her loving husband Buddy, her son Randy and his wife Tammy of Tulsa, her son Scott of Tulsa; grandchildren Jeremy Blair and his wife Jennifer of Tulsa, Andrew Blair and his wife Tayler of Tulsa; her great-granddaughter Lily along with many friends and extended family.
Viewing will be Wednesday, May 18th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa OK. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Ft. Gibson, OK Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
