Barbara Jane Cantrell, 67, went to her heavenly home on December 27, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John Cantrell, her five children, four grandchildren and her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Her children are Elizabeth Miller and husband Josh, Rebecca LaRose and husband Danny, Officer Nathan Cantrell, Specialist Stephen Cantrell - US Army and Emily Cantrell.
Her grandchildren are Colin & Ian Miller, and Acacia & Dinah LaRose.
Her siblings are Robert Conkwright & wife Rose, Frank Conkwright & wife Lisa, Beverly Jackson, Arthur Conkwright, Dale Conkwright and Brenda Anderson & husband David.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Naomi Conkwright.
Barbara grew up in Verdigris, OK and graduated from Claremore High School. She received her Associates Degree from Tulsa Junior College. She has lived the last 40 years in the Los Angeles,CA area raising her kids and caring for her family. She loved planting fruits and vegetables in her garden and growing fruit trees.
Barbara was the kindest, most tender hearted and self-less person. She thought of everyone else before herself. She was the embodiment of verse I Corinthians 13:3-7. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
