Barbara Dean "Bobbie" Blair, 87, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on March 6, 1939, in Tulsa, she lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by family and friends.
Barbara was the beloved daughter of Lucille McCutcheon and Charles Phillip Brannen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Phillip Brannen, Jr.; and her devoted husband, Chester Blair. Together with Chester, Barbara built a life filled with love and cherished memories. She is survived by her loving daughters Tina Chambers, married to Todd Chambers, and Toni Martinez, married to Larry Martinez, Jr., who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. Barbara's legacy continues through her grandchildren Christy Shipley, Heather Goehri, and William Garrison, Jr., as well as her great-grandchildren Ella Riera, Aiden and Gracen Garrison-McKenzie, Scarlett Garrison, Mason Goehri, and Lila Goehri.
Her family brought immense happiness to her days, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Barbara had a creative spirit that shone through her many hobbies. She was an accomplished oil painter whose works reflected her artistic talent and passion for beauty. Her love for genealogy allowed her to delve into the rich history of her family's roots, preserving their stories for future generations. Photography and scrapbooking were also among her favorite pastimes, capturing precious memories that she lovingly compiled into multiple photo albums for every member of her family.
A woman of deep faith, Barbara found great comfort and fellowship in her First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow church family. Her connection to the church community was a cornerstone of her life, providing spiritual guidance and meaningful friendships. Barbara's warmth, creativity, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind as they celebrate the remarkable life she lived.
A service to honor Barbara's life will be held at Moore's Southlawn Chapel on April 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 26th from 2-4 PM
