Our Dear Barbara passed away February 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Murl Ford; three daughters: Lisa Ford Buster and husband, Mark; grandsons, Tyler & Bryan of Spring, TX; Michelle Ford and partner, Janice Mackay of Kansas City, MO; Sherri Ford-Doolittle and husband, Randy Doolittle; grandsons, Justin & Trey of Chelsea, OK; sister, Karen Newell and brother, Bob Bartnick.
Mom never knew a stranger. She talked to whomever would listen. She loved playing cards, tripoly and yahtzee with family and friends. She adored her grandsons and loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports. You could always hear her from the stands.
She LOVED adventures. She passed on her love of Christmas to her family, keeping the tree up and lit for as long as possible.
She will be deeply missed. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, with the burial immediately following at Moore's Southlawn Chapel 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233.
