Barbara Ann Putnam, 86 years young, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, leader and friend.

Barbara is survived by two daughters Anne Olmstead & Katheryn Olmstead, one son Mark Olmstead & fiance Beth Long, one step daughter Carissa Putnam Wilson and husband Michael. Grand children; Emery Olmstead & wife Lacey, Megan Olmstead, Kristofer Nulph, Elayne Medina, Stephanie Righthouse & husband William, Geoffrey Smith & Libby Barnes, Patrick Nulph and Allen Nulph. Fourteen great grand children Tanner, Alexis, Colton, Madison, Chloe, Thaddius, Tinsley, Joseph, Abbygail, Emmitt, Anthony, Evelyn, Carleigh & Carter. Many nephews, nieces and very close friends.

Barbara was born in Chicago, Illinois to Martha & George Mersman and later adopted by Jim Hamilton. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence Howard Putnam, one brother James Patrick Hamilton, and one sister Martha Lois Eubanks, two son's Patrick Louis and Michael Merritt Olmstead.

She was married to Howard for 28 wonderful years, sharing many interest & adventures until his death in 2008.

Mom held several occupations over the years including, secretary for St. Mary's School, Treasurer/Fundraiser for Tulsa Association for retarded children, and she retired from the Magic Empire Council of Girl Scouts where she served as the Registrar for 25 years. She is fondly remembered by 3 generations of Girl Scouts and leaders.

Over the years mom enjoyed ceramics, sewing, gardening, crocheting, quilting, reading, camping, raising pet birds and beautiful chickens. She always enjoyed spending time with her family.

Barbara was a member off the Tulsa, St. John's Episcopal Church, where she served as registrar and was a member of the Altar Guild.

Viewing will be 12PM - 8PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022 with visitation from 6PM - 8PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be 10AM, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
