In Loving Memory of Barbara Anne Ellis Bernamonti Patterson Rodden
November 28, 1930 - May 6, 2025

Barbara passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her Savior on May 6, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 94. Born on November 28, 1930, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Barbara lived a long and beautiful life, defined by faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Pearl Elizabeth Hammons Ellis and George Washington Ellis of Muskogee. A woman of great heart and Christian conviction, Barbara's love for Jesus was the guiding light in her life, and she carried His message of kindness, service, and grace into every relationship and endeavor.

Barbara pursued a career in nursing with dedication and skill, earning her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She served with distinction as a Registered Nurse, concluding her career as an IV nurse at St. Francis Hospital. Even in retirement, her heart for helping others never faded. She volunteered joyfully with the Golden Agers at her church, always offering encouragement and companionship to others.

Her hobbies reflected her creative spirit - she loved sewing, painting, crocheting, and especially making dolls, each crafted with patience and love. Travel brought her delight, and though Branson, Missouri was a favorite destination, Barbara never turned down the chance for a good road trip, savoring the journey as much as the destination.

Above all, Barbara's greatest passion was Jesus and her family. Her love for them was deep, enduring, and unconditional. She is survived by her devoted sister, Mary Jane Pamplin and husband Odell of Muskogee; her loving daughter, Barbara Lynn Caskey and husband Charles Caskey of Broken Arrow; and her devoted son, John Bernamonti and wife Debbie Bernamonti of Meridian, Idaho.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Melissa Lynn Hulse and husband Edward Hulse, Becky Payne and husband Eric Payne, Barbara Davis and husband Johnny Davis, Elizabeth Harris and husband Tom Harris - all of Broken Arrow; Dominic Bernamonti and wife Randi Bernamonti of Mountain Home, Idaho; and Amanda Gonzalez and husband Gabriel Gonzalez of Meridian, Idaho. She also lovingly embraced the stepchildren of Don Bernamonti - Doug, Dennis, and Mark Trott, all of Coweta, Oklahoma - as part of her extended family.

Barbara was blessed with an abundance of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who were a source of constant joy and pride. Her love, wisdom, and kindness will be forever etched in the hearts of those she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patsy Jo Adams, her brother Jimmie McBride Ellis, and her son Don Ellis Bernamonti.
