Barbara L. Romanek died peacefully Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at the age of 80 after complications from pneumonia and COVID-19.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband, Lee, and their daughter Suzanne (Ted) Langham of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Richard and Phyllis Kunkel, Lynn grew up in the Chicago suburb of Midlothian, along with her two brothers, the late William and Walt (Pam) of Cassopolis, Michigan. Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Joyce Mullen of Florida and several nieces and nephews including Heather (Eric) Novak, Jeff (Ashlee) Kunkel, Nancy (Mike) Brunette and Jeff Ross. Also left behind are many great-nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Bremen High School and attending college at Thornton Community College and Ole Miss and a Alpha Delta Pi alumnae, Lynn married Lee. They both worked in the family lumber business for many years before the Romaneks moved to Tulsa. Active in many parent groups during Suzanne's youth, Lynn later worked at Albertson's, coordinating their video department. She loved to shop and she loved her dogs and Suzanne's critters at the farm.

Visitation will be 5-7PM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa.
